It's getting to be that time of year friends...

If you've been reading along for a while, you may or may not know about a slight obsession I have with hearts, which is making it really tough not to scoop up every single heart shaped mug, basket, pencil that crosses my path.

I recently stumbled upon this skirt at Target last week.  It was clearly love at first sight, but then I had a little talk with myself that went kind of like this:

Self, remember how you're not a co-ed any longer? (sniff, sniff)

Yes?

Self, remember how we are going to try and buy more age appropriate sophisticated clothes?

Umm, well, I guess?

Self, this skirt is in the teen section.  Step away from the section.

Really, but I can really see us in this skirt.

Self, keep walking.

And the skirt was left behind...

Until I got my Lucky magazine and saw this

Self and I decided this was a good opportunity to revisit the conversation.

Self, you better go back and get that skirt.  Today.

target tuesday - colored pants

I finally took a leap into the world of colored pants, and much like others I found it impossible to choose just one.  And at $20 (on sale, in store, at Target), what would be the point of not getting all the colors I love?

I don't keep my decorations out all year like some people, although I do fancy the idea...

Needless to say, I'm so excited to bust out my decorations + add a few more, that I might just do it this week!

While I think workout wear such as Lulu Lemon is adorable, I just can't pay that much for something I workout in.  If I am going to spent $60 on clothes, I want a skirt form J Crew.  

Enter Target.  

My one stop shop for all workout clothing.

Target overload here.

I hadn't even realized how Target heavy this outfit was until I started labeling it.  I'm sure you've noticed that I don't post a lot of links to the separate pieces.  It's because I RARELY even look at full priced items anymore, I always head straight for the clearance section...ESPECIALLY at Target.  Well, with the exception of belts.  Have you noticed the abundance of skinny belts Target is carrying these days, I can hardly make it out of the store without one in my bags.

Target Tuesday

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this skirt.  I love the pattern, the colors, and the fact that I can pile on the GSL because it works perfectly with my jewelry.  I also love that it was $12 on the clearance rack!!  

See these boots?

I NEED them.  They were recently on sale at Endless, but they didn't have the color I wanted in my size.  They are Frye Celia boots in NAVY.  I have looked everywhere online and locally for them.  Here's a link.  I need them in a size 10 (yes, I have big feet).  If you find them anywhere for me to buy I will give you a $250 GS Lillian gift certificate + you will get to be my new BFF!!  I'm pretty sure they are from last season so they may be hiding somewhere like Marshalls (unfortunately not MY Marshalls).

Hey Guys!  Guess what I discovered at Target today...the MEN's clearance rack!!  If I was allowed to shop right now, you better bet this shirt would have been in my basket! How cute would this be with white shorts, or jeans, or red shorts...why oh why did I leave this behind??  

 Anyway, check it out next time you are there.  The most awesome part is that there are a ton of smalls available.
