I can't tell you how thrilled I am that spring is finally here!! I hate to temp fate, but I think we are finally in the clear for warmer weather...without the threat of snow.
Although I have been playing around with my blog for quite some time, this was the first week that I diligently posted every.single.day. While it was quite time consuming (how do you guys do it?), I had so much fun coming up with each and every post. A huge thank you for reading...especially those extra special people who took the time to comment.
My heart is all swoony.
Here are a few things that also made my heart go pitter~patter this week.
Not only did my heart go pitter~patter when I checked in at one of my favorite blogs this week, I think it *might* have actually stopped for a second or two.
I am absolutely smitten with the entire look, but most especially her hair.
My birthday is on Monday, and I promise to trade in my signature messy bun, and celebrate with this, more sophisticated, updo + bow + tons of fabulous jewelry!
This tutorial (from another one of my favorites) was from a little while ago, but as I was wandering around Walmart Friday...in search of potting soil, I came across the perfect sunglasses for a little DIY project of my own.
(Check back next week to see how it turned out!)

PS. I don't know how I ended up in the accessory section while looking for potting soil either.
And last but not least...
I discovered Everybody, Everywear this week.
It is a super fun way to see tons of individual twists on a trend
&
I am always smitten with a clever play on words.
I can.not.wait to find out what May's challenge will be.
PS. How cute are her jeans? They remind me of the jeans I was coveting here)
I hope you have a swoony weekend!

Happy Belated Birthday!
ReplyDeleteI'm a perpetual bun wearer, too. I bought the goody spin pins last year, used them once, and tucked them into a black patent clutch that only comes out a few times per year. I was sad, thinking I had actually left them in a hotel bathroom. But I found them again when I carried the bag a few weeks ago, and I haven't skipped a day without a spin pin. If you like buns, you need spin pins.....
