I don't know about you, but I'm absolutely smitten with pastels right now.

I don't know about you, but I'm still a bit in love with polka dots, although it might be a close second or third to stripes or leopard print...

work it wednesday: foxy

This sweater is 100% ridiculous, but it made me laugh when I saw it, so home it came with me.  First of all it has a fox on it (possibly a wolf?).  Second of all, the fox is wearing a bow.  Although it seems like this may not be the most versatile sweater ever, I may or may not have worn it 3 days in a row over the Thanksgiving holiday.

I am trying really hard these days to be conscious of what I am purchasing and only add pieces to my wardrobe that I will love for years to come.  My absolute favorite wardrobe essentials are turtlenecks, skinny belts, pencil skirts + colorful pumps.  All of these pieces are classic and will be worn time after time after time.
{until I decide I hate yellow or purple or aqua, that is}

The remix options with these colors + pieces is virtually endless + they're all on sale, and you know what that means...

Every single piece is completely needed + justified.

One of my first ridiculous thoughts after I cut my bangs was...what if my beloved nerd glasses don't work with my new do?! I mean, how tragic would that be?

work it wednesday: navy blazer

It's Work it Wednesday again as we start the slippery slope right into the weekend!  Yay!

This blazer has been in my dry cleaning pile for a few weeks and I kind of miss it, so I am going to live vicariously through myself (is that even possible??) and wear it here (again).  Speaking of wearing, or posting rather, my sister informed me that these posts were "cheater" posts, so stay tuned for another post (a new feature!!) later today...
